(805) 595-7280 Point San Luis Lighthouse Hike to the historic 1890s lighthouse with a docent along the scenic Pecho Coast Trail in Avila Beach (3.75 miles round trip), which is not otherwise accessible to the public. Walk or bike along the boardwalk edging Morro Bay Estuary, an 800-acre wetland sanctuary, home to more than 250 species of birds.
