Featuring local fresh produce, flowers, jams, dried fruits and artisan vinegars, the market brings the best of the farm to the customers. Visitors can also expect exotic foods, jewelry, massage therapy, tea, energy work, and live music and entertainment. » May 2 : Art in the Park @ Dinosaur Caves
Art in the Park @ Dinosaur Caves is proud to announce its seventh year of promoting local artisans of the Central Coast. This once-a-month event takes place at Dinosaur Caves Park in Shell Beach, along the path where the ocean meets the cliffs, on the first Sunday of every month (except July's will be on Saturday) from May through November with over 100 local artists and craftsmen selling and displaying their work. The art include paintings, sculpture, pottery, glass, textiles, jewelry, wood and metal furniture, and more. » May 9: All About Mom Celebration & Concert in the Park - Poster
This two-year-old event is a Mother's Day Celebration for the whole family at Dinosaur Caves Park. This special day was designed to celebrate all of the amazing mothers and will include a FREE concert in a beautiful setting-overlooking the ocean! Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and the whole family to this wonderful event. Mothers are priceless, so celebrate yours! This event is free and will take place from 1-4 pm. » May 29 - 30: Arroyo Grande Strawberry Festival Park - 7th Annual Festival takes place in the Arroyo Grande Village
The 27th Annual Strawberry Festival will take place on the Saturday and Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend, May 29th & 30.  The Strawberry Festival is San Luis Obispo County's largest free Festival and is the primary yearly fundraiser for the Arroyo Grande Village Improvement Association. ( www.arroyograndevillage.org/strawberry.asp )  This family-style event brings together thousands of visitors and residents to enjoy activities and entertainment, two kiddie carnival areas, the Strawberry Stampede, hundreds of art, craft and display booths, ethnic foods, and of course, scrumptious strawberry treats of all kinds as well as fresh strawberries by the box!  Heritage Square Museums, antique shops and restaurants in the historic Arroyo Grande Village will also be open.  The Arroyo Grande Strawberry Festival has been named “the place to be on Memorial Weekend” by Sunset Magazine!

The entertainment line-up this year will be the largest in Festival history!  Most types of popular music will be featured including ethnic, folk, blues, reggae, jazz, soul, bluegrass, choirs & rock 'n roll!  (Complete list with chronological starting times is below.)  Additionally Ballooney the Clown and the Bob and Gypsy Parrot Show will delight the kids at the Rabobank Family Stage.  Various local dance studios, martial arts and a belly dancing troupe will be featured.  Kids will be able to compete for free against the famous Soccer Collies!

The featured sponsors for this year's Festival are Rabobank and Lemos Feed and Pet Supply.  Ira's Bike Shop is sponsoring the free Bike Valet parking service both days.  Major media sponsors include KSBY, the CW5, the Tribune and Q104.5
